The designer

Thirty years. One woman at a time.

Adoria is one woman, her table and her hands. That is not a limitation she is working around. It is the reason the clothes fit.

Abhilashaa Pattnaik, founder and designer of Adoria

The end of settling

For three decades, Abhilashaa Pattnaik has watched women settle. Settle for the size that was close enough. Settle for a tailor who nodded but did not listen. Settle for an outfit that looked right on a mannequin and wrong on them.

Adoria is the end of settling. Every piece starts with you: your body, your occasion, your taste, and is built outward from there. Some women come for a festival kurta. Some come for the most important outfit of their life. Both leave with something no rack could give them, a piece made for one person.

What guides the work

Three things that do not change

Craft over shortcuts

Made-to-measure fit and hand finishing on every piece, not only the expensive ones.

Listening first

The design starts with your occasion and your story, never with a catalogue page.

One woman at a time

You are not one of thousands here. You are the reason the piece exists.

Clothing should fit the woman. The woman should never have to fit the clothing.

Abhilashaa Pattnaik, founder of Adoria

She did not just stitch what I asked for. Abhilashaa understood what I wanted before I could explain it, and made my daughter's wedding lehenga feel like it was always ours. Every fitting was personal.

She revived my mother's old wedding saree into something I now wear proudly. Nobody had to travel, and nothing felt rushed.

She designed my sangeet outfit exactly the way I imagined, and somehow made it even better. The fit was flawless and I felt like myself.
