Privacy notice

What this website collects, why, and how to have it removed.

Who this is about

Adoria is a designer-led ladies wear studio run by Abhilashaa Pattnaik in Faridabad, Haryana, India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, Adoria is the data fiduciary for anything collected through this website.

What is collected, and why

  • Enquiry details. Your name, your phone or WhatsApp number, an email address if you give one, the occasion and timeline you select, the area and preferred date if you book a home visit, and anything you type into the message box. This is collected for one purpose only: so Abhilashaa can reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
  • Usage data. Google Analytics 4 records anonymous information about how pages are used, such as which pages were viewed and roughly which region the visit came from. It is used to understand which pages are useful. It is not used to identify you.

No payment details are collected anywhere on this site. Nothing is sold here. The site is a showcase and an enquiry channel.

How your enquiry reaches us

When you send the enquiry form, it opens WhatsApp with your message prefilled so you can send it yourself. A copy of the same details is also recorded by our website host, Netlify, so an enquiry is not lost if the WhatsApp handoff is interrupted. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and Netlify is a website hosting provider. Both process data on their own terms.

Consent

You are asked to tick a box before sending an enquiry. Nothing is pre-ticked. If you do not tick it, nothing is sent. You may withdraw consent at any time using the contact details below, and the enquiry will be deleted.

How long it is kept

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to answer the enquiry and to serve you if you become a client, and are deleted on request. If you ask for deletion, it is done within thirty days.

Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023

  • Ask what personal data about you is held, and why.
  • Ask for it to be corrected, completed or updated.
  • Ask for it to be erased.
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
  • Raise a grievance, and have it answered.

Grievances are acknowledged and answered. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, the DPDP Act 2023 allows you to escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4. Google's own privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. Most browsers allow you to block analytics, and the site works normally if you do.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising trackers. Google Analytics sets its own identifiers. The only other thing stored in your browser is an optional flag used by Adoria's own team to keep their visits out of the analytics.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
